Conqueror garage doors have been on show and attracting strong interest at home shows in Christchurch and on Auckland’s north shore recently.

Brian Hill of Conqueror products Auckland considers the north shore home show a “great success” with interest from people renovating and building or simply looking for a new door. Builders and developers were also impressed, he says, and have, consequently, expressed interest in offering their clients a better alternative to traditional doors.

“Sales have been instant and the first doors are going in now,” Brian says.[/us_testimonial]

Having a Conqueror stand at the recent Christchurch Home Show was most certainly a positive move from a sales perspective, says Conqueror’s Christchurch-based sales and marketing manager Matt Sheppard. Because of the very nature of post- earthquake activity in Christchurch, the call to action will, however, be drawn out, he says.

[us_testimonial style=”2″ author=”” company=””]“About 95 per cent of the general feedback was that people love our product and want our garage doors, but they are waiting on the EQC, insurance, building consents or resource consents. They are in limbo waiting for one – or more – of four things to happen. Therefore, some have asked us to follow up in a few months’ time.”[/us_testimonial]

Some have wasted no time acting upon their interest – with the Christchurch Conqueror team already quoting and securing 10 jobs as a direct result.

The Christchurch Home Show also offered a strong branding exercise, Matt says, with 2,000 Conqueror brochures distributed.

While only Conqueror’s garage doors were displayed at the home shows, Conqueror was demonstrating – on video and brochures – its construction panel products. These too attracted great interest from developers and architects, some of whom specifically visited to discuss Conqueror’s extended product offering.
